Laryngology – Voice & Swallowing Care

Laryngology addresses disorders of voice, airway, and swallowing that affect communication, breathing, and nutrition. Advances in diagnostic tools such as videostroboscopy, high-speed imaging, and acoustic analysis enable precise assessment of vocal fold function. Minimally invasive microlaryngeal techniques, laser surgery, and office-based procedures offer effective treatment for benign and malignant laryngeal conditions. Swallowing disorders benefit from multidisciplinary approaches combining imaging, rehabilitation therapy, and targeted interventions. Neuromodulation and injectable therapies are improving outcomes for vocal fold paralysis and neurogenic dysphonia. Voice preservation strategies remain central in oncologic and functional laryngeal care. Technological progress and refined surgical techniques continue to enhance voice quality, airway stability, and swallowing safety while prioritizing functional preservation.
